Job and his wife, Hellen
Job & Hellen The Love & Care Widow/Elderly Ministry began in 2009 when Pastor Job Sifuna and his wife, Hellen were led by the Lord to care for starving widows/elderly who were eating leaves to survive and had no hope for improving their lives. Many of their homes had leaking roofs, doors falling off and walls falling down. With the help and support of our ministry, we were able to repair their homes and even build new ones when the old ones were beyond fixing.

The purpose of this ministry is to show them the love of God by providing the basic necessities of life. It is a hard life for widows who are often sick, have very little and live in a country that considers women of little value without their husbands. It is our desire to be God's heart to love them and His hands to provide their daily needs.

There are currently 8 widows and 2 elderly men in this ministry. On our first visit to their homes, we gave them food, a foam mattress, a blanket and a Bible. For most of them, it would be the first time they slept on something other than a dirt floor. The Bible was what they cherished the most. They are eager to learn more about the God who has answered their prayers and blessed them so richly.
